Providing Mental Health Diagnostic Assessments for Court

There are many reasons that individuals enter the judicial court system. Todays court system is more apt to look for the reasons behind a behavior to give the best judgements possible. However, they are not qualified to determine the mental health status and needs of an individual.

If there is a suspected mental health reason that led to a criminal behavior the court could order that the person be evaluated to determine their mental health status and receive recommendations by a qualified professional. These recommendations could then be taken into considerations in court.

A diagnostic assessment will help the court better understand the current mental state of the individual.

Our diagnostic assessments consist of a series of questions that explore the incident that happened, current mental status, and required past information. This gives us a view of each person, individually, and helps us determine a accurate diagnosis and recommendations.

What to Expect During a Diagnostic Assessment:

  • A review of current mental health symptoms.

  • History of mental health and chemical health symptoms.

  • An overview of current and past medical history.

  • Life history.

  • Current life status.

  • Psychological Tests including: depression scale, anxiety scale, and brief drug and alcohol assessment

  • Your privacy is our top priority. We will only release the assessment to the person or group(s) that you give us permission to.
